HCK was recorded between the ages 1;11 and 3;11 (2016-2018). She lives together with her parents and her older brother in Saqalames, next to the main road of Kamanakam ward. Most of the recordings take place around the house, but some were even done during a visit in Port Moresby. In the recordings, we mostly see her playing or following her mother while she is attending to her daily chores around the house. Her mother and her brother speak Tok Pisin to her, her grandma and her father occasionally add a bit of Qaqet into her world.
