ZDL was recorded between the ages of 0;7 and 4;3 (2014-2018). During this time, he lived with his mother BLN, his father APA and his older siblings ZJS and YJL in Raunsepna. The recordings very often take place in and around their house in the village, giving us an idea of village life in Raunsepna. He is the youngest child of the family.
